PLAY ON: Crunchy Silk by Jess Sayer

There’s something wrong with Astrid. At least, that’s what Olivia says. But Marlo says Astrid is fine, Olivia's the one who's batshit. Round and round and round it goes and when it stops, someone dies. PLAY ON is a live play reading of New Zealand plays, read by local actors.

About The Event

We're going creepy and kooky this Halloween eve and taking PLAY ON underground...well, to the Basement Cinema that is. This month's play is dark, disturbing, and very much for a mature audience.

There’s something wrong with Astrid. At least, that’s what Olivia says. But Marlo says Astrid is fine, Olivia's the one who's batshit. Round and round and round it goes and when it stops, someone dies.

Written by award-winning playwright Jess Sayer, 'Crunchy Silk' will be read by local actors to a very intimate audience - the cinema only seats 23, so get in quick to secure your ticket.

Presented by arrangement with Playmarket.
